Vision

We envision a world where every underserved individual rises with dignity, fueled by love, strengthened by faith, and empowered with opportunity—a world where communities thrive through compassion, equity, and lasting transformation.

The Ekpen Eribo Foundation was established in honor of the late Dr. Godfrey Nora Eribo and Alhaja Mrs. Rahamotu Aikpitanyomo Eribo, whose lives exemplified selflessness, compassion, and a profound dedication to serving others.

My mother’s unwavering generosity was evident in her many quiet acts of kindness—most notably, her decision to use an inherited piece of land to build a mosque for the Muslim community in Upper Sokponba. She recognized the community’s spiritual needs and responded with humility and grace, never seeking recognition.

My father was a steadfast source of support for many, and his passing in 2007 left a profound void. The overwhelming outpouring of love and grief from those he helped served as a powerful reminder of his impact. Inspired by his legacy, I began personally funding charitable efforts in his name, determined to keep his vision alive.

In recognizing the growing need for a more structured and sustainable approach, we officially registered the Ekpen Eribo Foundation—first in Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commission, and later in the United States as a nonprofit organization with the Texas Secretary of State.
